We would like to thank our parents, staff, volunteers, and community for making JP Elder's 4th Annual
Fall festival a successful event. This year we were able to serve over 240 
burgers, 240 
hotdogs, 150 
quesadillas, and 1,400 
tacos completely free. We had over 40 booths that included flu shots, complimentary haircuts, bike repairs, TAFB, and many more community resources.Our very special guest and co-host, Tough Stars Give Back Fort Worth, organized a friendly but competitive
basketball game between the 
Fort Worth Police Department and 
Fort Worth Fire Department, where they presented a $20,000 check to our principal, David Trimble to help with Elder's academic and athletic endeavors. Congratulations FWPD for the 
win! That 
trophy will look good down at the station.Special thanks to Gloria, Ernie, Juan, Adrian, Gabe, our 14 tough guys and everyone else who took part in putting this event together. We will be forever grateful.
