"Although I was born overseas, I claim Fort Worth as my home.  My dad served in the United States Air Force, and we moved a little bit.  My dad and mom are both Texans born and raised, so returning home and being stationed at the former Carswell Air Force Base cemented me right here in Fort Worth.  I grew up in the "Northside" area and attended the Lake Worth school system.

 

I was blessed to attend Gambling State University, home to one of the winningest coaches/ college programs under Eddie Robinson. I participated in both the "World Famed" marching band and the track program. I was even blessed enough to earn full scholarship status due to my academics, athletics, and musicianship.

 

I have an amazing and beautiful wife, Sarah and I, were blessed with three amazing children... Each of whom exhibits the best of both parents.  My hobbies are music/video production, Naruto, and finding good places to eat.

 

I believe God has directed  me to education, to serve others, and be a positive force for achievement, as so many teachers and coaches were for me and my family.  Education is one of a very few professions that is not steeped in exploitation and truly embodies the mantra of my faith... To love thy neighbor."
