Campus Coordinator

Robert Thompson has worked in the Fort Worth ISD for 27 years as an English teacher and ESL specialist and coordinator. He has also taught English as a Foreign Language in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he lived for two years. 

He has a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Texas Christian University and a master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.

As WLI Campus Coordinator, his job is to ensure post-secondary success for all WLI students and provide instructional support for teachers by helping them implement classroom practices that develop language proficiency and content knowledge. 

In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
