• Ms. Khristina Goady 

    Principal

     

    Khristina Goady is a dedicated School Turnaround Leader, previously serving students and communities in the Washington DC and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. She is currently the Principal at Atwood McDonald Elementary, a high-performing elementary school in an urban district. Her campus has received an “A” Rating from the Texas Education Agency and has received five distinctions for Student Growth, Closing the Achievement Gap, Reading ELA, Science and Post-Secondary Readiness. She previously served in school leadership as an Academic Facilitator, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, Title I Coordinator, Curriculum Writer for the Maryland State Department of Education, and as a teacher in Prince Georges County in Maryland. Khristina received her Master of Education from Loyola University (Baltimore, MD) in 2010 and her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Ottawa University (Kansas) in 2007. Ms. Khristina Goady truly believes that “education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world,” and it is this heartwork that she has been called to do; changing the world of education, one student, one school and one community at a time.
