Victoria Arreguin

Speech Language Pathologist

I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist with a strong educational background and a passion for providing high-quality services to diverse populations. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Christian University (TCU) and then furthered my education by pursuing a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology at Indiana University (IU) in Bloomington, Indiana. During my time at IU, I received specialized training in delivering culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Latino populations and their families.

Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in various clinical and research settings. I have provided speech and language services in schools, private clinics, and rehabilitation hospitals, serving both children and adults. Some of my experiences include bilingualism, dual language learners, utilizing ultrasound biofeedback intervention for English rhotic approximant /ɹ/ production, and delivering individual services to patients with aphasia resulting from cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs). Additionally, I have led LOUD Crowd group therapy sessions for individuals with motor speech deficits associated with Parkinson's disease.

One of my core values as a bilingual speech-language pathologist is to reach underserved and Hispanic communities, working with those who are underrepresented in our field. I am dedicated to delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions to children who are culturally and linguistically diverse, ensuring that they receive the best possible care.
