Routine Care of District Device
Do a restart or shut down everyday. Closing the lid of device does NOT shut down the system only puts it to sleep. The device is still on and using the battery or wall plug. A restart/shut down makes the machine stop running. When the machine turns back on, the district updates, necessary to keep your machine running, are uploaded.
Almost every time the internet is accessed, cookies are collected, whether you are asked to accept them or not. Those cookies slow down the machine because of the space used on the machine. It is necessary to go to “settings” on your browser and do a search for “cookies/cache” in order to delete them. Choose “Clear browsing data” and then “Delete data” to clean up your machine. You will probably notice it runs much faster afterward.
