Melissa "Mel" Strom is proud to serve Arlington Heights High School an assistant principal. She is a passionate educator with 12 years of experience in Fort Worth ISD. Prior to joining the team at Heights, Mrs. Strom was an Instructional Coach at Polytechnic High School. Her time in the classroom was spent teaching English Language Arts at Handley Middle School and Polytechnic High School.  Mrs. Strom is a proud alumna of TCU and SMU where she completed her Master's Degree in Urban Educational Leadership.  Go Frogs ... and Pony Up!  

When she is not on campus cheering on our teachers and students, you'll find her with her wonderful husband, Matt, and her 11-year-old son, Michael.  AYYYY HEIGHTS!
