Dr. Justin Barrett

Dr. Barrett is the newly appointed principal of Arlington Heights High School, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a track record of success in educational leadership. Prior to this role, he served as the principal of Little Elm High School and spent seven years as a highly successful Middle School Principal at Trinity Springs Middle School in Keller ISD, where he led the campus to earn an "A" rating in 2019.

With over 15 years in education, Dr. Barrett began his career as a Social Studies teacher and coach in Fort Worth ISD. He also gained valuable administrative experience as an Assistant Principal in the district. Before embarking on his educational journey, Dr. Barrett served in the US Army as a Personnel Management Specialist and was deployed to Iraq for a year.

Throughout his career, Dr. Barrett has had the opportunity to collaborate with diverse groups of people to achieve the common goal of increasing student achievement. His educational philosophy is rooted in the uncompromising belief that all students can learn and succeed in their chosen paths. He recognizes that students thrive when supported by a strong and knowledgeable leadership team, an encouraging community, and a supportive family.

Dr. Barrett is excited to bring his passion for education and his commitment to student success to Arlington Heights High School, where he looks forward to working with the dedicated staff, students, and community to continue the school's tradition of excellence.
