Hello! I'm Ms. Covarrubias, I have been a teacher for 7 years, 5 of those here in 3rd grade! I really enjoy getting to share my love for Math and Science here at Luella Merrett . In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys! I am so excited to start off this year! This year, will look a little different then the others, but we will work just as hard to learn everything we need and more to be successful 3rd graders.

Mr. Gabriel Equihua
Hello, my name is Gabriel Equihua. I am from the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; where I grew up in a small family and had the opportunity to study for a degree in International Trade at the Universidad del Valle. I came to the United States hired as a bilingual teacher for Fort Worth ISD and have been part of the Super Bees team ever since. This year I am very pleased to work with the third graders on their reading and writing in both languages as well as social studies.

Mrs. Angelica Klas
My name is Angelica Klas. I graduated from Texas Woman's University. I later received my master's degree in advanced literacy from Concordia University. I have taught at Luella Merrett for 25 years. I have taught first, second, and third grade. I love to teach reading. It brings me joy to see a student get wrapped up in a book and not be able to put it down. Books are magic! I have two daughters that keep me busy with swim, dance and choir.
