At the state competition she won her first round and then lost her next 2 rounds.
Here a few stats for her career. She is WHHS first District Champion, 2 x regional placer 6th 2018 and 2nd 2019, and 2019 State Qualifier! She is also a straight A student in our IB program. It has been an honor to coach her. I am sure wherever life leads her she will face it with determination and grit!
PS. Now she gets to eat all she wants to! Haha!

Regionals
Posted by Coach Jackson on 2/18/2019Congratulations to Western Hills first female wrestler to Place at Regionals and Qualify for State competition -- Salome Stallworth! Salome's record for the season so far is 22 wins and only 5 losses. She will be traveling to Houston Cy-Fair February 21st for the State Championships!
Also, we want to congratulate all the wrestlers who competed so hard this season: Andres Garcia, Aaliyah Ruiz, Jonathon Frank, Jordan Collie, and Chris Howard.
Lastly, I want to recognize senior Colten Loud for an outstanding season. There is no doubt he would have qualified for State had he not sustained a season-ending injury. Colton has accumulated a career record of 93 wins and 53 losses. Colton has grown as a wrestler every season, and, more importantly, he has grown into an outstanding young man. We are proud to have him represent Western Hills Wrestling.
