On Wednesday of last week, our Western Hills Wrestling Team traveled to Colleyville Heritage High School to compete in the 5A district tournament. Two of our athletes advanced to regionals and will compete on Friday and Saturday for a chance to compete in the UIL State Finals. 

*Carlos Aguinaga -106 4th place regionalqualifier
*Colton Kinnaman - 220 5th place regionals (Alt)
David Haney - 285 6th place 
Tiara Reed - 6th place 
Tavares Hamilton - did not compete but had a great year 

I’m proud of these guys. They competed with class and honor. Congratulations to Carlos Aguinaga for bringing home the gold at the St Marks School in Texas 53rd Christmas wrestling tournament.
