      Advising events

      • Students at TABS receive advising assistance from counselors and advisers at the high school and college levels. TABS' counselors meet with all students each semester to work on their progression plans and to ensure that they are on track for graduation. In addition, Tarrant County College is implementing a new advising model, which is likely to require that all dual-credit students meet with a TCC advisor on a semesterly basis.

      Tutoring schedule

      • TABS offers tutoring during the advisory period—11:05 to 11:40 Monday through Thursday—and after school most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Teachers are also available by request.
