Mission Statement

The North Side Gearheads aims to provide an outlet for automotive enthusiasm within the school. The Gearheads want to inform students about safe driving techniques, educate members about the automotive industry, and create community and school pride within the club. The club is open to students currently enrolled in auto classes, students not able to take auto classes but interested in auto, who can pass a safety check with the sponsor.

Goals

* To increase employability of students seeking careers in the automotive industry

* To ensure safe working habits and provide pportunities for students to use the facilities and equipment outside of class

* To generate student development of workplace skills and career readiness
