Mission Statement

The Texas Association of Future Educators facilitates communication and support among students interested in exploring the teaching profession.  Students will learn about the teaching profession, and its important role in our community. Students will spearhead research on how and where teachers receive their training, the cost, scholarships available, number of years required, certification requirements, and standards as preparation for entering the field.

Goals

* To learn about educational issues and/or methodologies

* To tutor and become a positive influence to younger children.

* To work together with your peers to raise funds to support the projects in which the local organization participates
