My name is Tyron Simon, and I am serving as your Campus Monitor. This is my first year serving in this capacity at Westcliff.

I am originally from Louisiana which is where I spent over half my life before moving to Texas over 20 years ago. I have a Criminal Justice Degree from McNeese State University which allowed me to become a Louisiana State Police Trooper. I proudly served for nearly 13 years retiring at the rank of Sergeant.

Upon relocating to Texas, I attended Tarleton State University and received my certification to teach elementary and middle school. I taught school for 20 years in both Fort Worth and Joshua ISD.

I am currently married to my wife Paula, and we have a son Jackson. He is currently a student at Sam Houston State University and pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.
