  • National Hispanic Heritage Month 2023

    Posted by TN on 10/4/2023

Hispanic Heritage Month is an important occasion for our classes to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures of the Hispanic and Latino communities. It is a time to recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. All levels of Spanish have units that incorporate the month-long celebration. This year's theme is "Latinos: Driving Prosperity, Power, and Progress in America." So far, I have been invited to judge a themed door decorating contest at Arlington Heights, attend an evening of music, dance, and theater at Paschal HS, do a gallery walk of the artwork at McLean MS, and attend the National Hispanic Honor Society Induction at TABS. student artwork
