Elayna Acosta

Elayna Acosta has excelled as the Student Council vice president, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to the school community. She has also shown her athletic prowess in varsity volleyball, flag football, and soccer. Elayna's academic and extracurricular achievements are complemented by her involvement in the National Honor Society, Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), and on the Superintendent Advisory Committee. She will continue her educational journey at the University of Texas at Arlington, ready to tackle new challenges and opportunities.

Graciela Ortiz

Graciela Ortiz is an exemplary senior who has maintained a 3.8 GPA while balancing numerous responsibilities. As a member of the Superintendent Advisory Committee, AVID President, and Student Council, Graciela has shown her leadership skills and dedication. She has also been involved in the Boys and Girls Club, Culinary Club, and National Honor Society. Despite working a part-time job to support her family, Graciela has remained in the top 10% of her class, showcasing her resilience and determination.

Mariani Aguiniga

Mariani Aguiniga is an outstanding student with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Her leadership roles include class president, JROTC Battalion Commander, and Vice President of the Teaching Association of Future Educators (TAFE). Mariani's involvement in numerous clubs and organizations, along with her academic excellence, has earned her many medals, stoles, and cords. Her participation in area, state, and national trips highlights her dedication and commitment to broadening her horizons and making the most of her high school experience.

Berenice Puga

Berenice Puga has achieved numerous milestones during her time at South Hills, making a lasting impact on the school community. Competing at the state level in mariachi, Whiz Quiz, and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) are among her proudest achievements. Additionally, she secured a $5,000 grant for the campus, earned recognition as an All-Star Theater Technician, and placed second in a jazz contest. Berenice also advanced to area competitions for both theater and marching band, showcasing her diverse talents and dedication.
